Well known for her gorgeous flowing Grecian red carpet dresses and edgy diffusion line (Alice by Temperley), fashion designer Alice Temperley has now branched out from her own collections to collaborate with British Heritage brand Barbour.
The debut womenswear line is aptly named Barbour Gold Label by Temperley and is set to comprise of five wax and leather jackets and three cosy chunky knits.
The key capsule collection will also incorporate Temperley’s branded style with leopard print lining and feminine peplums.
However, this may not be a one-off collaboration, with a spring/summer 2012 collection already stated to be in the pipeline (which is set to include accessories as well as alternative apparel), this could also be the start of a beautiful fashion marriage on both parts.
Temperley noted: “I grew up in the countryside and have worn Barbour since I was a child so I was thrilled when asked to collaborate with such a brilliant British heritage brand.
“The collection has elements of both Temperley and Barbour and is a great mix of fashion and functionality.
“I love the Somerset jacket in brown which features leather trimmed detailing, quilted shoulder details, nipped in waist and leopard print lining.”
Prices range from £249-£899 and will be available in stores from mid autumn.
