Martina McBride Profile :
Martina McBride is an outstanding songwriter and country singer who has the talent to make many great hits compilation. She is one of several musicians who has been blessed with excellent achievement in some of her songs like “Wild Angels” and “Wrong Again” that both peaked at number one on BillBoard Hot Country Songs (previously known as Hot Country Singles & Tracks). Thanks to her soprano vocal range, Martina McBride has been named the “Celine Dion of Country Music”.




Martina McBride Biography :
Martina McBride was born as Martina Mariea Schiff on July 29, 1966 in a small town of Sharon, Kansas. At her young age, Martina McBride was introduced to country music by her father Daryl (a farmer and a shop owner) and she began to love singing ever since that day, spending for hours to sing a song from popular singer like Patsy Cline, Connie Smith and Linda Ronstadt.

Martina began performing with “The Schiffers” (a local band that her father fronted). Her performance catched her father’s attention that he asked her to work singing a few songs with the band in 1973. Her role in the band became greater as the years passed.

After moving to Hutchinson where she fronted a new band during her journey to becoming a star, Martina found a brighter place for herself in Wichita where she acquired some recognition on the music scene and met a studio engineer and a talented producer John McBride who became her husband in 1988.

In 1989, Martina and John moved to Nashville with the hope that they could gain some bigger recognition in the music industry. In Nashville, her husband quickly found a job as Garth Brooks’s main soundboard mixer while Martina got a job to sell Garth Brooks T-shirts. After two years of hard working with the help of their valuable contacts in the industry, Martina gain a recording contract in 1991 with RCA Nashville Records.

Finally in 1992, Martina McBride launched her debut album with title of “The Time Has Come” which featured country folk influences and honky tonk. In the following year (1993), she released her second album with single “My Baby Loves Me” that grabbed a spot at number two, “Life #9″ at number six and “Independence Day” won the Song and Video of the Year at Country Music Association Awards.

Her third album titled “Wild Angels” was released in 1995 with singles “Safe in the Arms of Love”, “Wild Angels”, “Swingin’ Doors”, “Phones Are Ringin’ All Over Town”, and “Cry on the Shoulder of the Road”. The “Wild Angels” received Gold and Platinum certification in United States. Two years after (1997), Martina McBride released her fourth studio album, titled “Evolution” which included the hit singles “Valentine”, “Happy Girl” and “A Broken Wing” (her second number one single).

In 2009, Martina McBride released her tenth and final studio album for RCA Nashville “Shine” with singles “Ride”, “Wrong Baby Wrong” and “I Just Call You Mine”. Alson in 2009 in support of this album, Martina McBride initiated “Shine All Night Tour” with Trace Adkins and it ended in May 2010. In November 2010, Martina switched to Republic Nashville record label and started to work with Byron Gallimore on a new studio.

With two multi-Platinum albums, five Platinum albums and one Gold, Martina McBride is making her way to become a legend of country music singer.
